Transplant Next
Welcome to Transplant Next, the new youth initiative of the World Transplant Games Federation.
Transplant Next is not only a resource for youth but a place for parents, siblings, families and caregivers to gather information and seek support.
Through Transplant Next we aim to:
- Encourage the participation of transplant youth in sports and highlight the benefits of sports and exercise in young transplant recipients.
- Encourage participation in future World Transplant Games.
- Build a community and platform where like-minded youth can share their stories and engage with other transplant recipients.
- Provide education platforms and helpful information for both youth and their parents, families, and caregivers.
- Help youth develop essential life skills to help them integrate into society post-transplant.
- Provide adventure camps for transplanted children, where they can come together and participate in activities with likeminded children from around the world who have been through the same things as they have.
- Provide you with access to worldwide links and information about existing transplant youth events.
The WTGF believes that the positive influence of sports in transplanted youth will instil a lifetime of healthy habits.
