About TX – The Transplant Teddy Bear

Since its creation in 2021, TX has brought comfort and hope to children around the world who have recently undergone a transplant or are waiting for one. Initially sent by post to children globally, TX has become a symbol of support, resilience, and the Gift of Life. More than 600 TX teddies have made their way around the globe.

Now, TX has taken on an exciting new role as the official mascot of the World Transplant Games (WTG)!
Children attending the World Transplant Games will receive their very own TX bear, bringing this special mascot to life at every event. TX is no longer traveling the world by post but will instead be handed out personally at WTG events, creating lasting memories and a sense of community for young transplant recipients.

Look out for TX at the next World Transplant Games in Dresden, Germany— the 2025 WTG—where he will be there to cheer on and support children attending the games!

TX’s Message of Hope:
TX continues to carry a message of hope from children across the World Transplant Games Federation (WTGF) community—children who were once in similar situations and are now celebrating their renewed health and the joy of life through sports and exercise, and moat importantly the gift of organ and tissue donation.
