Leuven 2027: get ready to register through the Gateway

The 2027 World Transplant Games will take place in Leuven, Belgium, from 1 to 8 August 2027. Preparations are moving fast, and the next big milestone is the opening of registration.

Registration through the Gateway

All registration for Leuven 2027 will take place through the Gateway, WTGF’s online registration and results platform at wtgfgateway.org. The Gateway is already proven in competition: it handled registration and live results for the 2026 Transplant Football World Cup in Frankfurt.

The organising committee and WTGF are completing final end-to-end testing now. Registration opens soon on the Gateway.

What’s included

Every registration package will include the Opening Ceremony, the Cultural Night and the Gala Dinner, so every athlete and supporter can enjoy the full Games experience.

Information for Team Managers

National Team Managers are being set up on the Gateway now, so they can manage their team’s registrations in one place. The Local Organising Committee is planning an online seminar for Team Managers to walk through the process.

If you are a Team Manager and have not yet received your Gateway access, please contact wtgf@wtgf.org.

Where to find information

  • Event information – venues, sports, travel and accommodation – will be published on the official Games website, wtg2027.com.
  • Registration will take place on the Gateway once it opens.

Terms and conditions and the privacy notice for registration will be available on the Gateway at wtgfgateway.org.
