Sweet and Sour Chickpeas with Rice

60 gr of long grain rice (cooked according to your package instructions)
Half a can of drained chickpeas
5 tablespoons of sweet and sour sauce (any brand you prefer)
5 gr of butter for cooking
Pinch of black and white sesame seeds
Parsley (for decorating and flavour)

Method

  • While rice is cooking, melt the butter in a pan, add chickpeas and cook for a few minutes.

  • Add the sweet and sour sauce to chickpeas and cook slowly mixing for another 5 minutes.

  • Add cooked rice and chickpeas in a bowl, sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley.
