After the unforgettable moments in Dresden, Germany, the World Transplant Games community is invited to come together once again — this time in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
The WTGF Snow Boot Camp is not a competition.
It is not a conference.
It is a week of movement, recovery, connection, and celebration, designed especially for transplant recipients, donors, and their friends and families.
From scenic winter walks and snowshoeing, to gentle wellness sessions, race-course skiing, or even learning to ski or snowboard for the very first time — combined with spa recovery and unforgettable winter evenings — this is where sport meets wellbeing after transplant.
New to snow sports? This is the perfect opportunity to try skiing or snowboarding in a safe, supportive environment.
For more confident skiers, we will offer a dedicated WTGF race course, expert instructors, and an uplifting atmosphere built around transplant life — all while celebrating fitness, resilience, and life in the Alps.
And when the sun sets, the village comes alive. Join us for welcome drinks, storytelling, karaoke, guest speakers, fun competitions, and authentic winter culture. Together, we will celebrate life after transplant in Anzère, the hometown of our WTGF President and a proud host of the 2012 and 2018 World Transplant Winter Games.

Your registration covers a full week of activities, experiences, and community events:
🏔️ Mountain & Movement Activities
- Daily morning ski race training
A different course set up each day to cover GS, Super-G, Slalom, and Parallel
Slalom exclusively for Boot Camp participants
(Provisional timing: 10:00–12:00)
- Nordic walking and snowshoeing sessions
Some guided sessions suitable for all fitness levels, for both skiers and non-skiers
🧘 Wellness & Recovery
- Exercise and movement at the local spa in the pool
Including gentle stretching, light recovery, and wellbeing-focused activities
🎉 Social & Community Programme
- Evening social activities throughout the week, such as: o Karaoke
- Talent competition o Ski-boot dance-off o “Silly in the Snow” activities
- Informal community gatherings
- Guest speakers and talks on topics relevant to the transplant community (TBC)

- Tuesday, 10 March —Relaxed Community Raclette – Liz Schick’s Birthday Celebration Raclette meal provided.
- Friday, 13 March — Fun Parallel Slalom & Village Party o Inclusive parallel slalom racing for all abilities o Prize for the silliest outfit
o Meal and a welcome drink included for registered participants (via vouchers) o Village square celebration supported by Anzère Tourism o Music and entertainment (final details pending)
Curling can be arranged for an additional cost – once we have an indication of potential curlers attending.

These prices represent discounts on the public prices of the suppliers and are exclusively available to WTGF Snow Boot Camp attendees. To benefit from these special prices, you must identify yourself as a WTGF Snow Boot attendee at the time of contacting the suppliers as discounts cannot be added retrospectively.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Hotel Zodiaque in Anzère are offering the following special prices per person:
7 nights accommodation (In 7th March, Out 14th March 2026
- 2 singles studios north : CHF 565.- per studio
- Singles studios south : CHF 701.- per studio
- 1 double studios north : CHF 590.- per studio
- Doubles studios south : CHF 726.- per studio
Included in the price is 7 nights accommodation, bed linen and towel, small kitchen (for some studios), final cleaning and fees.
Please take note that we have in total 17 doubles studios south which could also be used as singles studios.

- Holiday taxes: CHF 5.50.- per adult, per night, CHF 2.75.- per child, per night (between 6 to 15 years old).
Optional supplement:
- Breakfast: CHF 15.- per adult, per day, CHF 10.- per child, per day (aged 8-13), CHF 7.50.- per child, per day (aged 3-7), children under 3 free of charge.
- Half-board meal (breakfast + evening meal): CHF 55.- per adult, per day, CHF 39.- per child, per day (aged 8 to 13), CHF 28.- per child, per day (aged 3 to 7), free for children under 3. (For organisational reasons, for evening meals, our restaurant waits for guests at 18:30. Please take note that our restaurant is closed on Sunday, so it is not possible to have the evening meal in our Restaurant this day).

Various options can be found through Airbnb and Booking.com. Various apartments and chalets are also managed by Liz Schick (dog friendly and free parking by the ski shuttle).

Rooms booked through @HOME BnB give you access to the jacuzzi at Chalet Lizou and are all in proximity of the chalet.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO ANZERE
We strongly recommend consulting train & bus timetables before purchasing flights as there are only limited services to and from Anzère in the early morning and late evening.
For groups of 20+ persons arriving and departing around the same time coach transfers can be arranged.

Geneva airport
The journey time from Geneva airport to Anzère is approximately 3 hours and the adult price is 67.- Swiss Francs fracs one way. It is necessary to change from train to Post bus in Sion. Buses are not very regular for please check timetables before booking late flights for arrival or early flights for departure. For the return saver tickets can be purchased online but this is not recommended for arrivals in case of delays for arrivals.
Zurich airport
The journey time from Zurich airport to Anzère is approximately 4-4.5 hours and the adult price is 120.- Swiss Francs one way and 218 return. It is necessary to change trains in Visp and from train to Post bus in Sion. For the return saver tickets can be purchased online but this is not recommended for arrivals in case of delays for arrivals.
Child fares
Children 1-5 years of age, accompanied by an adult, travel free. Children 6-15 years of age, travel at 50% of the adult fare. Children 16-17 years of age, travel at the adult fare.
You could add the trainline site also for return. There are only a few minutes to transfer from train to bus. A taxi is 80-100 SFR one way.
