Accommodation & Meals

The camp will take place at a chalet exclusively reserved for the Nicholas Green camp – the Chalet Chamossaire. This chalet is located approximately 1.5km from the village centre, away from the main roads, which affords it privacy and security.

Bedrooms sleep 2-5 and accommodation floors are gender specific, with supervising counsellors, nursing staff and volunteers in separate bedrooms on each floor.

Meals will be served in the large dining room and will be nutritious and plentiful. A typical daily menu is as follows:


Every day includes a choice of cereals, breads & pastries and fresh fruit & yoghurt. Daily additions usually include pancakes, eggs, meats and cheeses. Fruit juices and hot chocolate will be served.

Picnic lunch

A daily choice of sandwich fillings will be offered, together with fruit and a chocolate or cereal bar. A hot soup will be served at lunch time to supplement the picnic.

Afternoon snack

On returning to the chalet or hotel, fresh fruit, bread and jam, cereal bars or similar will always be available, together with water and hot chocolate.


A salad buffet, with a choice of vegetarian salads will be available. A soup will be served every day and main courses will include spaghetti bolognaise, shepherd’s pie, fish in batter, roast chicken, chilli con carne, etc. served with French fries, boiled potatoes, rice or pasta, etc. and a vegetable. Deserts typically include fruit tart, chocolate mousse, ice cream, fresh fruit salad, etc.
