Find your device from the selection of options on this page and follow the directions to connect your device to your MoveSpring account
To sync steps data into your MoveSpring account you will need to open the MoveSpring app on your phone or go to the MoveSpring website and click the green Sync button at the top right. MoveSpring cannot sync your steps data if you do not open the MoveSpring app or website.
No Device? No problem! If you use a pedometer, or you don’t have a device, or your current wearable fitness tracker does not integrate with MoveSpring – you can manually add your steps to get moving with the Billion Steps Challenge.

From the dashboard, select the edit pencil icon next to ‘Today’s Activity’
IMPORTANT TO NOTE
The Billion Steps Challenge requires that participants join into teams of min 2 and max 10 people per team. One Team Member will create the Team first, then your other team members can find and join your team.
Your team name must include your abbreviated country initials after the team name, for example: a South African team will be “Step Up –ZAF”, a team from Canada will be “Team Stepper – CAN”

The MoveSpring platform does not allow for participants to be in two teams at the same time. This would affect the steps data and final results as the participant would be entering double totals for one days stepping or activities.
All activities count! You can convert your non stepping physical activities like swimming, yoga, cycling or even gardening into steps.
Stay engaged and motivated with MoveSpring’s chat feature! With chat, you can send messages and photos to the entire challenge, their team, or directly to friends. You can also react to messages using chat reactions or reply within a thread to continue a conversation.
In all chats, speak with kindness, support, and encouragement. Please share your stories safely!
