The WTGF is now launching Fit For Life grants to promote the role of physical activity and sport in the long-term rehabilitation of transplant recipients.
The first Fit For Life Grant was launched at the recent Second European Conference on Transplantation and Physical Activity, held in Sofia, Bulgaria from 8 – 10 July 2016. Further information on this grant can be found here (link)
Should you wish to make an application for a Fit For Life grant, please send your proposal to the WTGF Office by the 1st November 2016. 2017 Grants will be announced in January 2017.
Applications will be accepted from all medical professionals, students and professors in the transplant related sector. Topics must relate to the specific role of physical activity and sport in the long-term rehabilitation of transplant recipients. Funding decisions are made by an expert review panel and grants are scored and awarded on the basis of novel ideas, research approach, data, prior work as well as other factors.
